In the third quarter of 2024, the top social apps in Mexico displayed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

TikTok Lite - Save Data from TikTok Pte. Ltd. saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at approximately $481K by the end of September. Weekly downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching a high of about 1.5M in the week of September 9. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users increasing steadily from 41.6M to 42.2M.

Facebook by Meta Platforms, Inc. experienced a stable revenue stream, closing the quarter with around $46.9K in weekly revenue. Downloads saw a peak of 542K in mid-August before gradually declining to 426K by the end of September. Active users remained robust, fluctuating slightly but generally staying around the 90M mark.

Instagram had a slight dip in weekly revenue, starting at $66.9K and ending at approximately $58.4K. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of 521K in early September. The active user base grew from 52.6M to 53.6M by the end of the quarter.

Threads demonstrated an upward trend in downloads, starting at 246K and reaching a peak of 441K in late September. Active users increased from 6.2M to 7.8M over the quarter, indicating a growing user engagement.

X from X Corp. showed a gradual increase in revenue, reaching a peak of $20.5K by the end of September. Downloads remained fairly consistent, peaking at 201K in early July, while active users saw a decline from 10.3M to 9.3M throughout the quarter.
